You may have heard it said many times in network marketing trainings that you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person, and you can’t say the right thing to the wrong person. This was one of the things I believed was true as I worked my business and tried to gain network marketing success . But why was it that I was always running into a lot more “wrong people” than I was “right people.” I found this quite frustrating to say the least.
One of the “strategies” I tried was the 3-foot rule….you know, if people are within 3 feet of you for more than 3 seconds, you throw up on them about your fabulous network marketing opportunity. Then I refined this strategy so if anyone was within 3 feet of me in some line or whatever, I would figure out without even talking to them that they were the “wrong person” so I wouldn’t need to waste any time talking to them.
